IEC: A Multidisciplinary Experience for the Clinical Objectivation of the Regenerative Products

3 September 2019

To evaluate the regenerative effects of cosmetic products, IEC proposes to monitor the parameters of the SKIN SURFACE such as RMD, skin barrier [TEWL], hydration, hydrolipidic film, but also of the DERMIS via its evolution [thickness, homogeneity, equivalent age via 50 MHz Ultrasound], its cellular renewal in vivo [L*, b*, ITA° after DHA staining] and in vitro [Normal Human Fibroblasts].

Some techniques can be performed on healthy skin previously weakened by a chemical agent [SLS], by mechanical action [stripping] or by UV exposure.
