‘Plant EVeration Cell Technology’ for sustainability via The K Beauty Science Inc.

One of the most talked about topic in the cosmetic industry is sustainability along the line of ‘it should be beneficial to the human body while not damaging the environment and nature.’ In particular, K-Beauty, whose growth depends so much on exports, is doing everything in its power to respond to this calling of the times.
The efficacy, quality, and sustainability begin with cosmetic raw materials. Consumers prefer natural and organic ingredients that are safe for the skin and shun away from ‘chemical ingredients’. This led to the need for sustainable cosmetics raw materials resulting in remarkable advancements in plant material technology.
Existing plant material technology was limited to using raw materials, extracts, and fermented products of plants. Although this is fundamentally accepted positively in that it uses plant based raw materials rather than from animals, it is also true that it has distinct limitations from sustainability angle of preserving natural resources while delivering the benefits of plants to the human body.
A field that has recently been in the spotlight as an alternative to is callus research using plant biotechnology. Plant callus refers to a cell mass with excellent cell division and differentiation capabilities that is used to heal the injured or damaged area of the plant.
