Poor public perception remains biggest hurdle for CBD cosmetics in South Korea – expert via Cosmetics Design

The negative perception of hemp among the South Korean population appears to be the biggest setback to industry development, although efforts are being made by both public and private sectors to overcome the hurdles.

While cannabidiol (CBD) is not a new ingredient in the market, it has not sparked any major trends largely due to the deep-seated perception that “hemp is bad”.
