Dermatologists and cosmetics researchers are strive to solve these twin challenges through science. The Korean Society of Skin Barrier Research (Chairman Jeong Se-kyu, Chairman Hong Seung-pil) held the ‘2025 Korean Society of Skin Barrier Research’ at the Daeyang AI Hall of Sejong University, Gunja-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, on the afternoon of the 13th and shared the latest research results related to the skin barrier.

In his opening remarks, Jeong Se-kyu, president of the Korean Skin Barrier Society, said, “Recently, the skin barrier has been attracting attention as a key element closely related to various skin conditions such as skin health, aging, pigment diseases, and inflammatory diseases, beyond the concept of a simple protective barrier.”
