Analyzing the stratum corneum with XFluo 3D: Structural characterization of corneocytes by Kamax via ZOOM #30

Kamax expands its testing range by introducing a new application of its innovative and patented XFluo® 3D technology.

The startup provides a qualitative and quantitative analyses of the stratum corneum:

  • 4K visuals (3D images and opportunities to make videos) of corneocytes to compare before / after effects
  • Roughness parameters
  • Data on the state of the barrier function through precise morphological analysis of corneocytes at different levels of the stratum corneum (layers).

This innovative protocol allows to claim moisturising, improvement of the skin barrier function or skin softness effects.
