Recently, HelioScreen developed a new method allowing to evaluate the immediate protection of your product, an important criteria to ensure a better security for your customers.
This test is based on the future norm ISO 23675 for the in vitro determination of the Sun Protection Factor (SPF). The product is applied on PMMA plates thank to the HD-SPREADMASTER. In order to evaluate the immediate protection, the plates are measured just after the spreading, with no exposure step. We repeat the measure at different times to observe any variation of the SPF. To be claim as Immediate Protection sunscreen, we need to observe a low variation of the SPF over time.
