Newtone and Monasterium Laboratory Unify Under the QIMA Life Sciences Banner

After joining QIMA in 2021 and 2022, Newtone Technologies and Monasterium Laboratory Skin & Hair Research Solutions GmbH will now operate as QIMA Life Sciences. This unified identity strengthens QIMA’s position in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, offering clients a comprehensive range of services.

Gençay, 16.09.2025 – Newtone Technologies (Lyon, France), and Monasterium Laboratory Skin & Hair Research Solutions GmbH (Münster, Germany), two leading preclinical and clinical research laboratories serving the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries, announce their rebranding to adopt the QIMA Life Sciences identity. Having joined QIMA in 2021 (Newtone) and 2022 (Monasterium), the companies have been integrated into the group’s Life Sciences division. This consolidation enhances QIMA Life Sciences’ capabilities in skin clinical imaging, hair research, and services related to skin diseases.

“Our QIMA Life Sciences division now offers clients a unified and cohesive identity, strengthening our position as an end-to-end solutions provider in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology markets. This aligns with our strategic growth and innovation approach,” comments Benjamin Wilner, CEO of QIMA Life Sciences.

QIMA Life Sciences specializes in research and analysis services dedicated to the biology of both healthy and diseased skin and hair. Its comprehensive service suite includes in silico, in vitro, and ex vivo testing, alongside clinical evaluation. Research, testing, and development of image capture devices are carried out within the four laboratories located in France (Gençay, Labège, and Lyon) and Germany (Münster). With 150 experts and over 2,000 square meters of laboratory space, the company supports the research, development, and marketing departments of leading European and American cosmetic and pharmaceutical companies in innovating project conceptualization, drug candidate discovery, and product claim substantiation.

“This rebranding aligns with QIMA’s growth strategy for the life sciences sector, and consolidating our four laboratories under a single name will make the lives of our global customers easier as they engage with us at any step of their R&D and product development. It is also an opportunity to ensure our teams in all our Life Sciences laboratories share the same strong QIMA values based on client passion”, comments Sébastien Breteau, Founder and CEO of QIMA.
