Odournet France – Sensenet: New premises for your olfactory projects!

Odournet France – Sensenet, experts in olfactory measurement and analysis, reached a crucial milestone in May 2024 with the relocation of its activities to modern, high-performance premises. This new environment reflects our determination to combine innovation, respect for the environment and employee comfort.

 Why odor measurement is essential

When it comes to products and materials, odors are a key element in the user experience and perception of quality. Whether for household products, industrial materials or packaging, olfactory analysis helps optimize sensory characteristics, ensure regulatory compliance and meet consumer expectations. At Odournet France – Sensenet, they offer advanced methods for detecting, analyzing and evaluating odors, providing precise, tailored solutions.

An eco-responsible building to match our ambitions

Their new headquarters embodies their values: built in part with eco-materials and equipped with photovoltaic panels, it illustrates their commitment to ecological transition and energy sobriety. This modern, sustainable setting enables them to better support the growth of their business while guaranteeing an optimal working environment for their teams.

An optimized infrastructure for our expertise, with

  • – An olfactometry laboratory

Compliant with EN 13725:2022 and COFRAC accredited (scope no. 1-1964, available at www.cofrac.fr), their laboratory enables them to measure odor concentration with precision, using a rigorously selected panel. They also carry out olfactory threshold analyses of ingredients and odorant solutions.

  • – A sensory analysis laboratory

Equipped with 10 evaluation booths, it is dedicated to in-depth descriptive studies of products and materials, carried out by trained panellists. Their  analyses enable them to identify precise olfactory characteristics and determine their impact on the end-user.

  • – A sample preparation area

An area dedicated to the development of customized protocols and sample preparation, enabling evaluations as close as possible to real-life conditions. This is where they design malodors to test the effectiveness of products designed to reduce or mask odors.

  • – A room equipped with test chambers

This facility enables them to reproduce living rooms on a pilot scale to evaluate cleaning and ambiance products, guaranteeing representative and reliable tests. The test chambers offer precise control of environmental conditions for optimum results.

  • – An in-vivo test zone

Dedicated to the evaluation of products such as deodorants and antiperspirants, this zone hosts volunteers who test products under real-life conditions, including physical activities such as cycling. These tests enable them to assess product performance directly on users.

A strengthened mission

With these new premises, Sensenet is better equipped than ever to meet their customers’ needs and pursue their mission: to provide reliable analyses and innovative solutions in the olfactory field.
