Beauty Brands Blast EU to End ‘Back Door’ Animal Testing in Open Letter via Cosmetics Business

Fronted by Cruelty Free Europe and PETA, as well as 450 other brands, the letter calls for the EU Cosmetics Regulation to uphold animal testing bans

Beauty brands have blasted the EU in an open letter calling for an end to ‘back door’ animal testing.

Helmed by Cruelty Free Europe and PETA, The Body Shop, Dove and Simple are among the 450 brands to back the letter.

Signatories accuse the European Commission and European Chemicals Agency of ‘shredding’ the bans by forcing.
