CRL has experienced an exciting increase in demand for its services over the past year. We responded by adding staff and panelists in Piscataway and by rounding out our management team with top talent. We have also added staff in our North Carolina sunscreen testing lab and refined numerous internal processes to drive faster, better studies. These changes have increased our capacity and client satisfaction rate, an accomplishment of which we are quite proud!

Behind the scenes, we have been putting the finishing touches on a laboratory in Austin, Texas.  It currently has 11 employees operating within a 4700 square foot space.  We anticipate a staff of 15-20 employees and an expansion to 9,000 square feet by year end.  Studies like HRIPT, Non-Comedogenesis, and Safety in Use will be conducted at this location under the name CRL Austin.

Overview of CRL Austin Tests Currently Online

  • Non-Comedogenicity
  • Consumer Perception

HRIPT Capability Anticipated July 2018

CRL has been an industry leader in HRIPT testing for many years. In the summer of 2018 we will bring on additional HRIPT panels at CRL Austin. This will result in increased capacity for both shared and exclusive panels.

We also expect a decrease in study turnaround time. CRL client services representatives will keep clients up to date as new capacity comes online at our Austin lab.
