HCS Pharma is a biotechnology compagny that develops and offers models for in vitro research using innovative imaging methods: High Content Screening (HCS) and High Content Analysis (HCA). This multi-parametric imaging system saves you time and money by simultaneously monitoring multiple parameters within the same experiment.

We develop our own in vitro miniaturized models that we offer as services in different fields (Dermo-cosmetics, Toxicology and Pharmacology). These tests are offered in 96-well plate format in order to evaluate the different properties of your active ingredients alone or in mixtures: antioxidant, healing, anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, whitening and probiotic properties.

Our lab unit dedicated to dermo-cosmetics works mainly on primary cells (keratinocytes, fibroblasts), cells derived from iPSC (melanocytes, sebocytes) as well as cell lines (HaCaT). With automated fluorescence imaging, you can obtain efficacy results quantified cell by cell, along with relevant images to enhance data for your products.

We can also work on reconstructed skin, as well as on our own innovative and exclusive 3D BIOMIMESYS® technology, a biofunctionalized matrix for innovative models adapted to different cell types, including primary adipocytes.

We are today based on 2 different sites (Lille and Rennes) with 2 distinct specialties:

  • human health in Lille and
  • nutrition / well-being (cosmetology and nutraceuticals) in Rennes.
