SGS China Opens a New Facility in Xiamen for Cosmetics Testing

Demand for cosmetic product testing in China has increased due to the new Cosmetic Supervision and Administration Regulation.  Furthermore, a Guideline for Cosmetic Efficacy Claim Evaluation, has been introduced.  This new guideline requires cosmetic manufactures to prove the efficacy of their products.
To meet the demand for the increase in cosmetic efficacy claim support testing, SGS has opened up a new clinical site with cutting-edge technology in Xiamen, China.  The site will initially focus on anti-acne, nourishing, repairing, anti-wrinkle, oil control, skin firmness, moisturization and hydration claim support.
What does this mean for cosmetic brands?  We will have faster turnaround times, which will help reduce unnecessary delays in getting your products to market.
