2018 saw a huge 420 papers published on the Skin Microbiome, four times as many as only five years previous!

In 2018, the hugely successful global Skin Microbiome Congress series saw a who’s who of the industry, with independent beauty and personal care brands and multinationals alike, sharing their innovations at the inaugural event in Boston, which SOLD OUT in record time.

However there’s so much cutting-edge academic research being published and so little still known about what a healthy microbiome is, that this year the Skin Microbiome Congress, 29 – 30 May, 2019 in Boston, is taking a deep-dive into the two key areas critical for success, with two concurrent tracks of content: Developing a Functional Understanding of the Microbiome; and Building a Commercially Viable Business.
