These comprehensive evaluations encompassed multiple techniques, including procedural steps, processes, and methods. The evaluators performed meticulous assessments, such as:

• evaluating the general appearance of hair,
• assessing scalp hair condition,
• measuring hair strength,
• determining grey severity score,
• measuring scalp sebum using adsorbent tissue,
• assessing scalp hydration with MoistureMeterEpiD,
• employing the 60-second hair combing method,
• conducting hair pull tests,
• performing trichogram tests.

All assessments adhered strictly to standardized protocols and procedures.

The evaluators received extensive training from Dermatologists, covering topics such as skin, hair, and scalp anatomy, as well as scoring methods for hair volume, density, reflection, plasticity, shininess, smoothness, and the appearance of scalp skin. Additionally, they were trained to identify different hair growth phases based on morphological changes, and various validation techniques were introduced.

To assess the consistency between the scores of dermatologists and evaluators, an analysis was conducted. Evaluators who demonstrated at least 80% agreement in scoring were designated as Dermatologist Trained and Validated evaluators for assessing the general appearance of hair and scalp skin.
