PhD Trials at Boost Your Test: Skin Structure and Neurosensorial Analysis [Booth Q98]

PhD Trials® is a leading Contract Research Organization specialized in the design and performance of in vivo studies for the Cosmetic and Raw Materials industries.

With more than 25 years of experience in developing and performing clinical studies, PhD Trials® experts can perform from tolerance to efficacy studies that help the development of our customers’ products including studies that require advanced image analysis and neurosensorial protocols.

Their clinical center located in Lisbon, Portugal manages more than 14000 subjects a year and work for more than 150 customers worldwide, most of them the world leaders in their fields.

During In Cosmetics Global, they will present the new methods for anti-ageing studies based on advanced confocal and LC-OCT image segmentation, in order to observe the collagen network in 3D, papillae characterization and quantification based in their Artificial Intelligence algorithm.

Moreover, they will also present their new clinical methods for neurosensorial validation of products, based on immersive stimulus using Virtual Reality setups, combined with biometric approaches (including EEG, functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Galvanic Skin Response, Heart Rate Variability and other), that validates how the product can influence the well being of a subject, in way that is perceived.

These new methods and protocols can help to study a new concept that will be presented during the exhibition and later that they name as Emossome.

They hope to see you during the exhibition at booth Q98
