Cosmetify has released its Cosmetify Index for Q4 2021, detailing the year in beauty and its hottest brands. The report indicates that Huda Beauty, MAC Cosmetics and Anastasia Beverly Hills were the most popular brands in 2021. The hottest rising brands were JLO Beauty, Mallows Beauty and Le Prunier.

Cosmetify used the 100 most searched brands on Google and ranked them based on five factors: Instagram followers, Instagram engagement rate, Instagram hashtags, global search volume and percent change in searches.
