Hydration Evaluation – C-Cube 3 by Pixience

Hydration is a primordial feature of the skin. A lot of external factors (lifestyle, pollution) and internal factors (aging process, illness) can damage a good hydration of the skin. Skin’s dehydration can generate an unusual amount of flakes or an important roughness on the epidermis surface.

C-Cube Clinical Research allow to illustrate and quantify criteria directly linked to dehydration:

Much more than a chromameter, the C-Cube Clinical Research 3 brings together in a single device the ability to evaluate criteria:

  • 2D: color, surface, pigmentation, erythema, ITA;
  • 3D: roughness, depth, symmetry and texture distribution over the skin.

The C-Cube is based on an Ultra-HD camera, patented LED lighting and exclusive 3D colorimetric and geometric calibration.

This technology ensures the accuracy and reproducibility of your measurements. Thanks to its new field of view, observe larger surfaces and analyze the smallest color variations.

  • An image resolution of 12 million pixels (x70 magnification)
  • Field of view 14.5*19.5 mm²

C-Cube Clinical Research 3 allows you to evaluate the actions and efficiency of your moisturising ingredients.

With the C-Cube 3, itis now possible to prove your measurements with the image.

As always, remember that you can also outsources your data analyses to us through Pixience Cloud.
