How Does Food Affect Acne? via Skin.be

The etiotogenesis of acne is complex and includes numerous exogenous and endogenous factors. About one of these factors, namely nutrition, has been in a controversy for years. A research team from Poland has made an overview of the existing scientific knowledge about the influence of nutrition on the development of this condition.

For this, they went to the data banks PubMed, Medline and Google Scholar in search of literature on the influence of the diet and nutrition on the pathogenesis of acne. They used the following terms for their search: acne, diet, nutrition, nutritional factors, milk, chocolate and fatty acids.
