Description
A Northern German SME developed a novel technology for non-invasive dermatological treatment based on trans-dermal application. Trans-Dermal Application (in the following TDA) is a non-invasive and contact-free technology that facilitates effective penetration of active substances/molecules through skin layer to reach a target tissue.
The TDA-system is composed of a computer-assisted user station, an easy to handle applicator and TDA-cartridges with various active substances. The TDA-applicator is guided above the skin in a defined distance without directly touching it. Doctors are guided during treatment by the application program.
For dermatological purposes different formulations have been developed for TDA-treatment of
– wound healing for non healing wounds like diabetical foot, burns, bedsores/decubitis
– skin-diseases like dermatitis, psoriasis, stretch marks, hair-related
The TDA-device has already been approved for dermatological treatment and is in line with CE.
The company is searching for a partner for clinical trials in order to show efficacy and test formulations. Partners sought should be university clinics or clinical research organizations (CRO) with dermatological departments. Envisaged are research or technical agreement, a joint venture agreement could also be considered
