SPF Result in 10 minutes, Sophisticated, High-end LED-HDRS in-vivo SPF Measurement System by Courage+Khazaka

As there is the need for alternative non-invasive SPF testing methods C+K has developed a compact device for in vivo SPF determination via hybrid diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (HDRS).
Advantages:

• non-invasive and safe application (low effective UV-dose)
• easy measurement procedure
• cost and resource effective (measurement time per product5 min without product application)

Currently, our system as well as other alternative SPF measurement methods are put to the test in an international ring-study (www.alt-spf.com). Hopes are high that it can replace the current invasive method.
