StratiCELL, Your Partner for Preclinical Testing

StratiCELL is a preclinical CRO dedicated to efficacy skin care testing. StratiCELL supports the main dermo-cosmetic actors by providing reliable data and illustrations for efficacy claim substantiation. Even though located in Belgium, StratiCELL helps the main dermo-cosmetics actors worldwide. To increase its presence in the United States, StratiCELL will participate to the upcoming Suppliers’ Day event by exhibiting on Skinobs booth 775. Organized by the New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists, the Suppliers’ Day event is North America’s largest tradeshow for cosmetic industries, gathering key players in the field.

StratiCELL will take this opportunity to present its extended panel of in vitro and ex vivo efficacy testing services, covering fundamental dermo-cosmetic claims such as skin anti-ageing, acute and chronic anti-inflammation response, defense against pollution and light damages, wound healing properties and pro- or depigmentation effect. Its innervated 3D skin model and associated assays co-developed with the French company Neuron Experts to support the testing of neurocosmetic skin care products will also be presented.

Additionally, StratiCELL will also exhibit its last 3D microbial models developed inside its unique MicroBIOS Platform. Besides the colonization of reconstructed epidermis with living cutaneous bacterial strains such as Staphylococcus epidermidis, S. aureus and Cutibacterium acnes, StratiCELL also overcame the challenge to colonize reconstructed epidermis with Malassezia furfur yeasts. This last model opens the allows to answer the current trends on “skinification” of scalp using new hair care actives.
