SUN bioscience is an early stage startup at the interface of engineering, material science and biology. As a spin-off from EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne, Switzerland), SUN bioscience provides technologies to generate and culture any three dimensional cell structure faster, more efficiently and more reproducibly. SUN bioscience aims to become an international player in the field of personalized medicine, by providing high-throughput organoid cultures for pharmaceutical and medical applications.
SUN bioscience is strongly supported by the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology of Lausanne (EPFL). We are proud members of the Class 2016 of the San Francisco based startup accelerator Founder.org.
SUN bioscience is managed by former and current scientists from the Laboratory of Stem Cell Bioengineering (LSCB) at EPFL. Its headquarters are located in Lausanne, Switzerland.
