Within the scope of the new development or reformulation of cosmetic and pharmaceutical preparations, the compatibility of a product must also be examined. Particularly in the increasingly digitized world, where end users are well-networked and can spread the experience of incompatibilities via social media, the impact of the local tolerability assessment is of increasing importance.

Being aware of the increasing importance of ‘Local Tolerance’ the ‘proDERM Academy’, the educational spin-off from clinical research organization ‘proDERM Institute’, has recently announced to widen its course program and host a seminar on the topic of  ‘Local Tolerance’ on June 20-21, 2017 in Hamburg, Germany.
With five different sessions on the topics of

  • Dermatology Fundamentals,
  • Legal Framework and Needs
  • Skin Irritation’, ‘Skin Allergy
  • Other Intolerance Reactions’ and
  • Clinical Testing

the seminar provides an in-depth coverage of all aspects related to local tolerance.

Theory will meet practice when practical demonstrations within the facility of proDERM Institute are presented to the delegates. This practical tour will include demonstrations related to ‘Facial Stinging Test’, ‘Scalp Tolerability’, ‘Application of Patches’, ‘Shaving Irritation’ and more.
For the benefit of a comfortable learning experience and in order to maximize networking opportunities the size of the seminar in terms of delegates has been limited to 45. The seminar will take place in the Intercity Hotel in the centre of Hamburg.
