Although essential for exchanges between skin cells and the external environment, pores are also a source of imperfections (clogged or dilated pores). Fringe projection is a technique to measure in vivo with great precision the 3D skin relief. Using this technology, EvaSKIN and AEVA-HE² scanners, combined with an EOTECH positioning bench, measure the size of pores on the face (number, volume, depth and area), especially on each side of the nose where they are most visible. The effect of cleaning, scrubbing or astringent products can thus be reliably quantified.
