Amorepacific has received an innovation award at the world’s largest tech exhibition, CES, for its self-developed personalized skin analysis system.

Amorepacific announced on the 10th that “Skinsight”, jointly developed with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), U.S. research team, has won the “CES 2026 Beauty Tech Innovation Award”. With this award, Amorepacific has set a record of winning the innovation award for seven consecutive years.

“Skinsight” is a system composed of a sensor patch attached to the skin, a miniature Bluetooth module, and an AI-based mobile application. It analyzes the causes of skin aging in real-time and provides personalized solutions. The patch is equipped with ultra-precise sensors that detect minute skin movements in micrometer (μm) units, simultaneously measuring four aging factors: skin tightness, UV and blue light, temperature, and moisture. Skin data measured through the patch is transmitted in real-time via the Bluetooth module, and the AI-based mobile application analyzes complex aging factors by synthesizing 24 hours of lifestyle data. Through this, users can identify the factors that accelerate their skin aging and receive personalized skincare routines and product recommendations that consider the location and severity of future wrinkles or loss of elasticity.

“Skinsight” is designed with enhanced breathability to prevent it from easily falling off even when sweating and adheres closely to the skin’s curved surface, enabling stable long-term operation. It is easy to track and observe skin changes in various environments and secure customized data. Amorepacific has published the jointly developed technology with MIT in international academic journals such as “Science” and “Science Advances”, and has registered four patents through PCT international applications and in multiple countries including South Korea and the U.S.
