Unfolding the Senses of Dermo-cosmetic Care via Re-Source

A few months ago, the Permanovation concept was launched by Re-Source, with the idea that reflection and research are needed to rethink innovation based on a new ethic of care, an ethic that takes care of vulnerability beyond the concepts of sustainable development. Organized in partnership with Cosmet’in Lyon, the Peau & Sensibilités conference is their very first initiative in this direction.

Permanovation’s ambition is to enable players in the cosmetics, nutrition and health sectors to activate a more integrative, more agile and, above all, more sensitive approach to innovation. Its mission is to open science up to its sensitive side, by giving greater prominence to the living, to intuition and to the senses – the senses as objects of study, as faculties of knowledge, but also as possible avenues of action.

To kick-start the movement, we propose to begin by examining the notion of sensitivity at its most intimate, namely the skin!

We’ll be looking at

  • Philosophy of sensitivity
  • Research and Innovation
  • The science of sensitive skin
  • Socio-aesthetics

Speakers: Jacques Sebag of Re-Source ! Bernard Andrieu from the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences – Sorbonne (Université Paris Descartes), Corinne DECHELETTE, Symrise AG, Lucas Meyer Cosmetics, Laetitia CATTUZZATO from Clariant, Fabrice LESTIENNE from Groupe Pierre Fabre, Helena Polena, PharmD, PhD from NAOS (Bioderma – Institut Esthederm – Etat Pur), Pr Philippe Humbert, Guillaume Buiret from Centre Hospitalier de Valence, Natacha Sullivan from THE BEAUTY OF CARING, Laure MAYOUD from L’invitation à la beauté®, and others.

Peau et Sensibilités will be held on March 14 in Lyon.
